James Whitehead

Allow me to introduce myself, James Whitehead, MD of Plasto-Sac UK Ltd - a business I founded 19 years ago. We supply Flexible packaging to the fresh food industry here in the UK and Europe.

Once upon a time I was a keen sportsman, competing to a high level in various forms of activities, but life took over. I have tried my best to keep fit over the subsequent years and have participated in a number of charity sporting events but nothing like the Tower to Tower

I have supported and taken tables at The Donna Louise Balls over the last few years my link being Karen Gladman. She is a Trustee and a massive fundraiser for the charity. I ‘bumped’ into Karen whilst buying coffee and after she told me in the time it took to order that she had rowed 500 miles across the channel for The Donna Louise, she had slipped in to the conversation the forthcoming Tower to Tower challenge and recruited me; an amazing sales woman! I feel she missed out a few vitals selling it as a Triathlon! I have never been one to shy away from a challenge especially for such a phenomenal cause so I signed up and I am looking to raise as much money as possible.

Karen, you owe me a Double espresso!!
