Paul Franklin

Participating in the original Tower to Tower event in 2015 was a key moment for me. The training and event itself were a massive physical and mental challenge but most importantly it raised over £300k for The Donna Louise which is one of the most worthy charities around.

Over the years I have completed many events and raised several tens of thousands of pounds for various charities, but nothing felt as rewarding as Tower to Tower. When a second Tower to Tower challenge was mooted there was no decision to make – I was in.

Outside of this, I have worked for the same big bank for almost 32 years, been married to Lucinda for 26 years and am the proud dad of four children. I sit on various local boards and committees in Stoke-on-Trent and am a board member of the North Staffordshire YMCA.

Music has been a central passion of my life, I’m an enthusiastic but limited guitarist and have attended hundreds of gigs. I am never happier than when I’m stood in a field watching live music with a pint in my hand!
